Coalition partners decide to consult opposition parties on budget issue
Top leaders of ruling coalition partners - Communist Party of Nepal (UML), Unified CPN (Maoist) and MJF (Nepal) - have on Friday decided to start consultation with the main opposition party Nepali Congress (NC) including other parties having representation in the Constituent Assembly (CA) on the issue of budget for the next fiscal year which the government is preparing to bring any time soon despite facing severe opposition.

An agreement to that effect was reached in a meeting between Prime Minister and UML chairperson Jhala Nath Khanal, Maoist chairperson Pushpa
Kamal Dahal and MJF chief Upendra Yadav at PM's official residence in Baluwatar today morning, according to PM's press advisor Surya Thapa.
Opposition NC has already warned the government not to even think about presenting the budget for the next fiscal year until there is definite headway in constitution drafting and peace process.

The latest political and security situation of the country including the ongoing processes of peace, constitution drafting, and implementation of 5-point agreement also featured prominently during the meeting, it is learnt.
The top leaders of the three coalition partners also agreed to take necessary initiatives to ensure new constitution within the extended time period of the CA and take the peace process to a logical end.travel19.tk
